News & releases

What we've shipped, month by month, across the API, the WordPress/WooCommerce plugin and the Shopify app.

In progress

A few things we're working on, not released yet:

September 2026

POP APIPOP per WordPressPOP per ShopifyUpdated 2026-09-17

POP API

The email onboarding flow is lighter, one step at a time instead of a checklist, and accounts that generate documents without finishing activation now get a reminder a few days later. Fixed a block that stopped Free-plan accounts from generating ZUGFeRD and Facturae credit notes, and PEPPOL delivery to Belgian recipients now automatically picks the right identifier for the recipient.

Several important security fixes protect invoices, downloads and account settings from unauthorized actions, and a bug that completely blocked document generation for shops outside Italy and Spain is fixed. Bulk XML/CSV download works again on every plan, including Free, and German shops can choose between PEPPOL and ZUGFeRD/Factur-X without connecting a POP account first. The same codebase also gives birth to POP for Belgium, the first channel-vertical plugin dedicated entirely to PEPPOL, submitted to WordPress.org today.

Duplicate-send protection now covers every channel (SdI, PEPPOL, KSeF, Zoho), not just SdI: an accidental double-click or a slow retry can no longer create a second submission. Zoho sync is available again on every eligible plan, and numbering stays consistent even when a failed generation attempt is retried.

August 2026

POP APIPOP per WordPressPOP per ShopifyUpdated 2026-08-31

POP API

From this month you can generate invoices, credit notes and PDFs without a POP account at all, up to 1000 free generations a month; an account is only needed to actually send a document through a channel. Every sending channel, including Zoho, is now available on every plan starting from Free, and French merchants can register directly with the public gov-fr platform in beta instead of going through generic PEPPOL.

The same “generate without an account” approach lands in the plugin too, with a new guided wizard replacing the external popup and every channel available from the Free plan. Also fixed an Aruba connection-status issue that could show as “connected” before login had actually completed.

Invoice and credit note status shown in external reporting tools like Report Pundit now updates correctly for PEPPOL, KSeF and Zoho, not just SdI. Manually editing a document’s number before it’s sent is also now correctly reflected in the reporting fields.

July 2026

POP APIPOP per WordPressPOP per ShopifyUpdated 2026-07-29

POP API

Native Zoho integration debuts, with a choice between creating invoices as Draft or Sent and control over whether missing customers are created automatically. PEPPOL support expands to 23 more European countries, and a dedicated channel opens for Gulf markets, such as the UAE, that have no official e-invoicing network.

Invoice documents become queryable by AI agents and automation tools through WordPress Abilities and WP-CLI, and Zoho can now become the store’s exclusive invoicing channel right from the Integrations page. Also fixed a bulk XML download bug that produced incomplete invoices.

The app becomes fully available in Polish, with local fiscal terminology instead of a literal translation. In the same release, merchants can connect Zoho Books as their invoice channel and have invoices and credit notes sent automatically when an order is paid.
