Linking payment methods between WooCommerce and Fatture in Cloud

Goal

Make sure the POP add-on for Fatture in Cloud generates documents with the correct payment method, by mapping the gateways active on WooCommerce to the methods configured on Fatture in Cloud.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. Connect the account — in POP’s Fatture in Cloud tab, click Connect: a popup opens with a code and a link to authorize the OAuth connection. Don’t close the popup until you see the confirmation “Access Token successful!”.
  2. Select the company — from the “Set the company to link” dropdown, choose the Fatture in Cloud company to connect (if your account manages more than one).
  3. Create a payment account on Fatture in Cloud — on Fatture in Cloud, go to Settings > Payment accounts and create an account (e.g. “Standard account”), if one doesn’t already exist.
  4. Create the base payment methods on Fatture in Cloud — under Settings > Payment methods, create at least the base entries: Bank transfer, Check, Cash, Payment card (you can consolidate Stripe/PayPal/other card gateways under a single “Payment card” entry, or create one per gateway).
  5. Configure the payment methods on WooCommerce — make sure WooCommerce > Settings > Payments lists all the gateways actually used on your store.
  6. Map the payments in POP’s Fatture in Cloud tab — set the global payment account, then match each WooCommerce gateway to the corresponding Fatture in Cloud payment method.

Verify

Generate a test document from the add-on for an order with a specific gateway: the document on Fatture in Cloud must show the mapped payment method, not a generic or empty value.
