Where to find the WordPress plugin changelog
Where to look
The full changelog for the WordPress plugin (version entries, generally categorized as Added, Fixed,
Improved, Changed) isn’t duplicated here because it changes with every release: check it directly on
the Changelog page of the plugin listing on WordPress.org, generated from the == Changelog ==
section of the plugin’s own readme.txt — that’s the only source that’s always up to date.
How to know which version you have installed
In wp-admin > Plugins, the installed version is shown next to the POP plugin’s name. The same version
is also visible on the plugin’s settings screen.
When you should update
- If you notice a behavior that the changelog indicates as already fixed in a version more recent than the one installed.
- Before opening a support ticket for a bug: check that it hasn’t already been resolved in a later version.
For the update procedure, see the plugin’s installation/update guide.
